وصف الموقع The organizations of the United Nations present in Lebanon cover a wide range of mandates, including peacekeeping, assistance to refugees, humanitarian assistance, technical cooperation and financial assistance for development. This is the web site of the United Nations System in Lebanon, the window on the world of the many different organizations of the United Nations present and/or active in Lebanon. Sixteen organizations are represented in Lebanon and are active in the fields of health, education, child protection/rights, population, environment management, poverty alleviation, women empowerment, agricultural and industrial development, employment, social protection and sustainable livelihood, poverty alleviation, governance and participation.
